Describe your job responsibilities…..My position is to assist people with their vacation planning, primarily our scuba diving customers.  We have created an exclusive division for scuba diver travel.  I work with a set network of resorts worldwide and match up our clients’ needs  based on budget, experience and time frame.  

Why did you choose to get into the travel industry?  I started in this industry because of my great passion for travel and helping others to experience their travel dreams.  

What year did you start in the travel industry?  I graduated from the Travel Institute in 2001.  This was a very challenging time for the travel industry due to the events of September 11.  However, as travel was a passion of mine I stuck it out and that why I’m here today.What is the best vacation you have ever been on….I have traveled to most Caribbean destinations with Mexico being my favorite place to relax in the sun on the beach; however, Alaska is my all time favorite U.S. destination. It has to be the most beautiful place on earth! My most rewarding vacation was when I took my mother back to her birthplace of Vienna, Austria for the first time since she left during World War II. Another favorite was a biking adventure through the Canadian Rockies. Nothing like getting up close with nature!

If you could plan your dream vacation what and where would it be?  I have a personal goal of seeing as much of the world as possible in my lifetime.  My most recent passion and adventure is Scuba Diving.  There are so many exotic and interesting places that I want to dive that I can’t really pick one… Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Australia…..
