The question is: Who can you rely on to help you if an airline cancels or changes your flight?
Traditionally summer is quiet in the travel business. This year is a little different. The phone volume has been the highest I can remember. However, it's not our clients calling us, but instead it's our agents calling our customers.
Our team of travel agents has been busy working with customers who have been impacted by recent airline schedule changes. Our agents track all the changes to your flight itinerary and then work directly with the airlines, cruise lines and tour operators to provide you with the best possible alternatives for your trip.
It seems like the majority of our recent incoming calls are from people who didn't book with us and are not getting any satisfaction from the airlines or the big online travel companies they purchased from. Sure, their technology is great and the ability to send a message to your phone is cutting edge. But when the message is, "sorry we had to cancel your flight; you can apply for a full refund online", it loses a lot of its appeal.
Schedule changes will continue as each airline reduces the number of flights over the next several months. Soon booking your own vacation may become a fulltime job, so let it become our fulltime job. Your best interest is our best interest.
