About Juan

Juan has been in the Travel industry for nearly 20 years & have been traveling my entire life, so needless to say, it is definitely his passion. Juan's 1st memory of traveling was on the dusty roads in New Mexico, he was 11 and my father had pulled into the Billy the Kid museum in Fort Sumner, NM. Juan was in complete awe of the history and relics that layed in front of him and THAT opened the door for him to see what else this world had to offer. Since then, he has added thousands of miles to his car and filled up the pages in his passport. Juan has been fortunate to have traveled throughout the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, Asia, the Hawaiian Islands & South America. He has seen the major cities, ventured off the beaten path, gotten lost only to discover new treasures and have made countless memories. It’s a huge world out there, let Juan help you see what it has to offer through his eyes….

Top Three Travel Experiences

Ambergris Caye, Belize

A destination that is authentic, un-commercialized and raw, I love the fact that there aren’t high rises buildings, all-inclusive hotels and that what you see is what you get. I love the fact that I could rent a bike for $7USD and ride to the North Ambergris (where a road was completed 3 months ago) and discover a bar/restaurant as if it were a mirage. In a day of modern technology, Belize really made you focus on the person you are with and the destination.

Cesky Krumlov, Czech

Quaint, historical and full of culture with a Gothic feel. I was immediately taken back in time as I explored Ceský Krumlov Castle. The nights were wonderful as well as I walked aimlessly throughout the town’s narrow streets popping into a bar or pub for a night cap.

Buenos Aires, Argentina

With a little bit of a European feel with a Spanish flair, I loved walking down the streets of San Telmo, shopping in Recoletta and dancing at Madero Tango. Late night dinners in open air restaurants was a perfect way to end the night, meeting new friends over Malbec and Empanadas.

Testimonials

The trip to Belize was absolutely AMAZING!!!  We had the best time ever and I have to tell you Ramons Village is probably one of the best resorts in San Pedro from what we saw and we drove ALL over in our very cool (Camo color) golf cart.  Very unique and people treated us like gold!!  We did wind up with our own cabana just a few steps from the beach which made things even more special.

Special thanks to Juan for planning our recent GIRLS TRIP to the beautiful Live Aqua-Cancun! Everything was perfect ... the resort, accommodations, transfers, pool, food, atmosphere! Would definitely recommend this resort and JUAN from LaMacchia for his assistance in making our trip so memorable!

Incredible! I stayed at the Secrets Puerto Vallarta for my honeymoon and everything was fantastic! I accidentally left my jeans in Mexico and Juan coordinated getting them back for me! Talk about going above and beyond! No website would do that! I would recommend LaMacchia Travel for any and all of your travel needs!
